But they still have enough time to wave to other bikers

But I always wave to drivers who move aside to make room for me. They are rare and I like to encourage it (and I do it myself when I drive). You're not supposed to be splitting lanes at high relative speeds. A quick wave with the left hand as I pass, not turning my head, is easy.

u shoulda pulled a u-turn, flipped up ur plates and gotten the hell out of there. by the time they weaved thru traffic you woulda been gone. they probably wouldnt have tried.

Cost me $60 a few years ago splitting up to the light here in Texas. Sure wish it was legal but it isn't. I'd been doing it for a few weeks before I got tagged.

I do it and will do it even if I get a thousand tickets.
Everytime I come to a stop at a traffic light and I have cars in front and none behind I work myself up the line because here in Miami there are to many busy idiots talking on their phones and rear ending people so since Im sitting on a bike it is the right thing for me to move foward no matter what the (retarded LAW) says. Cops will hear me when I tell them, I don't care if they don't listen.
David dont worry and you better than anyone know how the people can rear end you.
