Considering a brz is the same price as a base wrx. I would never buy a brz/frs over a wrx. You get so much more performance with a wrx.

Just watched the video and a great review.
I have to give props to the FRS/BRZ, coming right out of the gates and making a car that is that good in the first go-around is impressive indeed
I saw a FRS in person the other day and it looks much better in person too.

WRX better than BRZ
-straight line power
-more cargo space
BRZ better than WRX
-steering feel
-seats
-driving position
-handling
-braking
-gas mileage
-transmission shifting feel
-6 speed manual instead of 5 speed manual
-HIDs & Nav/Bluetooth standard (only available on the top line WRX Limited)
I highly disagree that the WRX offers better performance. I like the WRX but driving them back to back it felt like an SUV compared to the BRZ.

Re: BRZ vs WRX, I think it really depends on what your definition of "performance is". Most people wouldn't cross shop the two because they are in completely different segments.

(actually, FRS outselling many other cars right now, and dealers can't keep it on their lots!)
IMHO, i think of the FRS/BRZ as the "poor" man's Cayman, and that's high praise

Thanks for posting, I check this site out from time to time, it is great. Usually these two do not agree and seldome have I seen a 5 out of 5 on any car other than M3. The S2000 holds it's own against a more modern take on the light weight sports cars, nice.
i think, and have always thought since driving an S2000, that it is a geat roadster, like a modern day healey or mg or triumph, it has all the roaster characteristics and can get of it's own way, being state of the art when new and for years to come.
