Nope, filled up, drove 300kms pure highway and filled up again for little more than a quarter tank. Did that more than once, got 28-29mpg a few times and got 30-32 once or twice. I've driven that same stretch of highway about 5-6 times and its 300kms each way. I averaged 100km/h as it took me around 3 hours and I also got 30+ mpg in a huge snowstorm on the same highway, but it took me 3 hours and 45 mins.

What choice do they have? There isn't much to compare the FRS/BRZ to on the new car market right now.

I really liked this review. Clearly I really enjoy my S, but it was nice to see it compared to two other valid options, be it neither were drop tops.

idk how you have the S as your only car. I could understand if you still live with parents. I for one can't imagine my self just having this as the only ride.

My brother is in the market for a frs. Trying to convince him to wait it out...maybe I'll let him drive my car if I ever make the drive back to visit the folks.

My s is my daily driver and I live states away from my family because of the military... I have to admit it does suck in the winter or when trying to buy anything bigger than a case of beer.. But it's definitely manageable and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Why is it a joke? Many people cross-shop the two when looking for something sporty and relatively affordable. They both have high-rpm NA engines and both handle very well. The RX8 is arguable more refined, and definitely more practical, but I don't see why you are surprised at people comparing the two?

Great video, makes me miss the s2000 a lot! Especially the engine start scene for some reason.
