Looks like a cross between current Miata and RX-8, no surprise except rotary option! Sorry if repost

Still looks like crap to me. If they could manage a decent looking miata, I might actually consider one until I could afford a new S. They doesnt help though.

Probably looks like that because it's making a left turn, which puts all the weight on the right side, therefore, pulling the leftside suspension higher off the ground.

Hey, to each their own.

I have a 2002 S2000 and a 2001 Miata (with factory ground effects). I think both cars are good looking vehicles in their own way.

One of the guys in the local Miata club saw the S2000 recently (maybe because I couldn't resist driving it to our last dinner meeting ) and couldn't stop talking about how ugly he thought it was. He's entitled to his opinion.

As to the new one, there's too much crap on it to get a good feel for the look of the lines. I also notice that there's a European tag on it, so it'll be interesting to see how different a North American model might look.

A few things I did notice from the pictures that wasn't specifically mentioned in the article:
- dual exhaust
- third stoplamp now on trunk instead of rear edge of trunk lid
- restyled door handles
- rear window looks huge, I'm assuming it's still glass though

Come on, the thing has more padding on it than a victoria's secret bra and you are already forming negative opinions of it. Give it a chance to at least be unveiled completely. The S2k might not have even existed had it not been for the success of the miata.
