You can just see the regret in the ford engineers for not redesiging the underpinings sense 79'

05 mustang = Remorseful performance or I'm sorry!
02 wrx = It's almost saying HI!
Mugen S2000 = The joker of car faces, It just looks like the car is having too much fun.

What the hell is up with all this throw back styling in American cars these days. No one under 50 is going to want this pile of crap. 1 Throwback car cool, (not the PT) 50 looks like the whole world got put in the 85' Delorian and went back to the time of poodle skirts and buzz cuts. Way to piss off the Gen X and Y'ers. The small chance that you have to win them back in their LIFETIME is slipping away! Tick Tick Tick....

I liked the concept drawing much better. If they body colored the area around the headlights it would look WAY better.

I'm guessing ford realizes the Mustang is not a youth car and may never be. This is at older guys i'm guessing.

The focus is the new kids car sport compact and V8 really don't mix.

I love the 2 seater convertable look, if they fix the front and rear I'd think about it (not for too long i'd wager though). Oh and perhaps up the level of durability.
