where are they and how do u open the door?

I think that little nub where a normal handle would be is the door handle but I am not sure. I would guess that you reach in, pull up on the handle and then pull the door open?

its actually a pad you press and it releases, not really a latch you pull

It's more of a button than a latch. You press the button and pull the door open. The odd part is when about 30% of the roof open along with the door.
