Actually, the Pontiac Vibe is rebadged as a Toyota and sold in Japan! I was literally floored when I saw a Vibe sitting in a Toyota showroom. The US version seems to be the redesigned model by Toyota... which is pretty weird considering the Japanese model still adopts the Pontiac front grill design.

You bet! I am not kidding! Nothing changed on the car... I even picked up a Japanese brochure showing the Vibe in a lineup of Toyota cars. If I can get to a scanner I can post a picture of the page.
