Congrats! I look forward to seeing better review from you on it soon. Just remember to keep thick skin because you know you'll be flamed for buying a Ford.

Nice! I like! Visual impact outside is like a big Mini Cooper. Interior space is like a Suburban, gas mileage like a Pilot, interior looks like the Ford-designed Land Rovers (which is a good thing).
Congrats to you and to Ford for starting to focus on the product and not just the gimmicks!

The EcoBoost is not out in the Flex...yet. I did just see that Ford took an EcoBoost Flex & MKS to the drag strip and was running low 14s!
It's a sharp car, but some people are very turned off by the styling. My father hates it, but I like it a lot. It's a very functional and unique car. If you like it, buy it!

Not a bad choice at all. When my wife was shopping for a new ride last year I took a sit in a nearly fully-optioned Flex on the showroom floor. It was very nice and had the leather diamond-stitched seats yours has. Classy look. After driving the Honda Element, an 05 Lexus RX, and the Ford Edge, she settled on buying a used 07 Edge that had every option but AWD and the 8-speaker stereo. Hers has nav, the vista roof, leather, traction control, and a few other extras, and rides on the same platform, engine, and tranny as the Flex. She adores the thing, and I think it's a great road trip car that gets decent mileage (we get 21-23 mpg combined cycle).
The only negative I've ever heard about the Flex is from C&D, and they said it needed more power. I've never driven it though. Our Edge has pretty good go-power when needed but it's no quarter mile star.

Can't wait for the 2010 SHO. Nice ride Rosso, I think the Pilot is a small bit nicer objectively, but I'd take the Flex over it for not being such a boring appliance. I've definitely eyeballed the few I've seen around here.
