Default Ford Flex

My 08 VW R32 just isnt cutting it with the family anymore.
I purchased a Harley this spring and Im not really driving the VW as I should.

Took a look at a Caddy CTS...nice but blah. Figured Id try Ford. Drove the Flex and woah! Its nicer than the CTS.
With 0% for 60 and the dealer giving me a great deal all around, Im actually giving it serious consideration....
thoughts? Am I crazy?
Anyone driven one?

no you're not crazy. It's inspiring, in fact, when I see someone give a car an objective comparison with another car.

My family recently bought a focus and it's done us well.

edit* I will say the gas mileage isn't that great- do you have kids and need something that large?

For a family vehicle, I personally think the Flex looks superb.

I have a 3 year old daughter and a 95lb dog.

Ive looked at the Honda offerings, Nissan, etc. Nothing comes close to the Flex.
The Sync system is really cool too.

well, if the sub par gas mileage doesn't deter you, I say go for it. I think they seem pretty cool. plus, in the end, if you're happy, then you. are. happy.

Every report I read on the Flex has been excellent. I haven't heard or read anything bad about it.

I love the looks and the functionality. Gas mileage not so much and it is worse if you get the AWD one. But still in the low 20 mpg range.

I think the mileage is comparable to similar people haulers. However, if you don't need something that big a VW Passat wagon might be a good option. The 2.0T can be had with a stick shift in wagon format.
