I'm guessing it's supposed to be sexual. Look at the Christian Louboutins worn by the female in the beginning.
I'd expect a more creative commercial from a company like Fisker.

I know it's supposed to be sexual. It's also really trite. I can just see some mid-level marketing guys writing "precision. power. sexiness." on a whiteboard and then brainstorming this commercial. Sex? Put a girl in there. Power? Have the car do donuts. Precision? Oo oo, slide ice down a fender gap... it's precision *and* sex!
I'd expect a more creative commercial from a company like Fisker.

Every company has its marketing style - Porsche probably being the best. They are just trying to find their way..
Gorgeous car.

I think the Karma is the first truly "green" car that makes sense -- a hybrid system that delivers huge every-day efficiency and offers strong electric-driven performance in a luxury sedan with styling and features that justify its premium price. It's not a weak hybrid that only delivers moderate efficiency gains (all hybrids today), it's not a cheesy glorified golfcart with little practicality (G-wiz), it's not a vastly overpriced showpiece that nobody buys but to demonstrate eco-cred (Tesla), and it's not a economy car relying on government incentives to bring the price within economy car range (Volt).
I think it's very exciting, and a great looking car, but it also sounds a little too good to be true (I hope it is true though). I mean, luxury plus decent performance plus great looks plus 100 mpg, all for $87K? On the other hand, I know very little about the technology, so this could all be perfectly feasible.

But this is all still speculative, right? Has anyone (even a journalist) seen an actual rolling Karma, or driven a production-ready one? I'm not saying they haven't, just asking whether the potential car is a reality yet.
