^ I agree
Contrary to what the majority of this thread has to say, I'm thinking it's a great car.
I was thinking maybe make it a bit wider, but I'm sure that the enginners spending years on this car would make a far better decision then car enthusiasts.

It's too damn expensive and would be in the dealers garage more than mine.
expensive? what else in it's class is cheaper? (only the Vette and that's really a different class)
Will be in the dealers garage all the time? Based on what? Even people who have had problems with the previous gen M3 (my friend for example) his car was only in the shop 4-5 weeks. And that was with full engine rebuild.
I owned a problem BMW (IMO) and it was in the shop maybe 5-6 days. That's a lot (IMO) but hardly to be considered in the shop more often than not.
And, I dare say there are Honda owners who have experienced less than 100% reliability.
Really the only competition I see is Audi (RS4), Lexus (IS-F) and Nissan (GT-R) two of which are not even out yet (nor is the M3 so it's hard to say how bad reliability is going to be).
My friend has the current gen M5 and says he's had zero problems with it so far over one year.
