Good point, if you take it easy and learn the car it's not dangerous.

OP was concerned about learning stick, Abusing an S2000 to learn is not necessary though.

OP....

I bought my S2000 brand new 10 years ago...
Never drove a manual before... Learned to drive stick on the S.
Since then I have put 85,000 miles on the car
Daily drove in for 3 years in Manhattan
Probably 70+ Track days on it...

The only person to ever work on the car other than myself is Billman250
I had him drive it at speed on a track 2 years ago...
and the clutch still feels and grabs like it did 10 years ago.

Buy the car, take it easy as your learning, and RESPECT IT. It'll last for a long time.
