Default Finally, some nice pics of Cayman

First thing I would do, if I had this car, is put a small "Not A" decal before the Cayman emblem. Then run to the registry to get a custom plate: IMSTR8

Still not sure I like the styling from the B pillar back. However, the pics are very beautiful.

I understand the hype about it being midengine, handling very nicely and having close to 300hp but am I the only one that things this car is ugly. I would still get the 911 over that regardless if it faster around Nurburgring or not.

On paper this thing looks the same as my lesser priced and so called antiquated NSX.

What took ya Porsche? Welcome to 1991

Not following you. You paid less than $60K for a brand new NSX? Brand new NSX cost more than $60K (last I checked).

Plus the Cayman has some features the NSX does not. Stability control, side/head air bags etc.. Don't recall either being around in 1991 or yet in the NSX. Didn't the NSX JUST get remote un-locking?

BTW I'm not bashing the NSX, but the Cayman is lighter, has more TQ, has greater structural ridigity and safer (god forbid) in a crash.

I've tossed this around, but for (lets call it) $60K you're not getting a lot.

I reserve final judgment, but I'd take a BS with cash left over or pay some extra cash to get a 911S / C4S or C6 Z06.

However let's hope a value-line comes out with 275hp (or what) and priced closer to $48k-$50k. That may be onto something.
