Finally bought a car

Yeah P cars are really the only things that checks most of the boxes, except for the durability and cost of repair box. And I generally like their designs but I dunno, the 911 for an aesthetic perspective, doesnt move me. That said the 911R is as good as it gets for me.

Slapped on a corsa sport catback over the weekend.
The quoted 1.5 hour install turned into like 6 because 1) I'm an idiot and 2) instructions and youtube left off some critical details, like how the center pipe clamp has a clip that keeps the pipe sliding all the way out. Anyway got it done solo and swear I'll pay the 100-200 next time to have someone else do it. Additionally, some good insight in the posturing of people on mustang forums, just looking up the jack points was met with a whole bunch of dumb info. So I approached it cautiously and figured out using blues clues that Ford literally cuts out the areas on the rocker to access the pinch welds, and lo and behold theres a spot perfect for a jack and next to it, another smaller cutout that fits... you guessed it, a stand. The arrow ford put there also drove that message home. And the whole side comes up at the same time. Steeds is making a killing though on jack rails on people who installed them before jacking their car up.
Aaanyway, car sounds great, affirming to me anyway that a coyote with the right exhaust sounds pretty much as good as a voodoo. Sure, the voodoo at 8250 cant be beat, although coyotes with a tune and manifold could hit that, but everywhere else the sound is as great imo. I think much like people like the look of porsches, people like the sound of the voodoo. Dont get me wrong, it is better, but with my corsa I dont miss the sound anymore.
Zero drone, dead silent off throttle, slight burble at idle, has that trumpet like scream when you get on it, but nothing too nuts. I was surprised how tame it is but remembered that these are louder to onlookers than from the inside. It just gives me the sound that I have an exotic 32v dohc v8.
