F'in scammers, trying to sell my car @Autotrader

I was even getting this kind of scam on a $75 t.v. I was selling on craigslist...these Nigerians crack me up.

I was thinking they must work from standard email template responses that someone created for them.

The thing is, this scam approach for cars, TV's or whatever must be working on us (scamable Americans) or the Nigerians would do it for long.

I wish I could find the link to some thread where they baited a nigerian scammer, and they ended up sending him into the border of Darfur/Sudan.

I don't mean for this to sound racist in any way.

Why does all of the scamming come from Nigeria? Or, is that just a catch-all for scam origination? What is going on in that particular country that trying to scam Americans on the net is so popular?

Seriously, I'm just curious.

Because sometimes it works and so it attracts more people.. Why are there only pirates in Somalia? Why are terrorists that you hear about mainly Muslim
