Ferrari World - Anyone Been
Was thinking of visiting Ferrari World in January and wondering if anyone has been? Is it worth the stop? If you went, how long did you stay? Was it expensive while inside? Would you go again?

No. The admission is not expensive, but wasn't sure about meals and all that... I am on per diem ... Hotel and all that I got covered, but was more curious if I should even bother going. Wasn't looking for a weekend in Abu Dhabi, but if Ferrari World is worth going; why not?

Did you go there, during the F1 race? I understand some hotel rooms have a direct view of the race.

My buddy just had a layover there and he drove a Formula 3000 (I think) car around Yas Marina for a session for something like 300 bucks. They also had the same deal for an Aston Martin GT race car. Might be more of a bucket list item.

No. I can stop there as a layover on Etihad Airlines on the way home from Singapore. I can see the Singapore race track from my office in Marina Bay. Figured I could stay in Abu Dhabi a day or two on the way home and check out Ferrari World since the airplane stops there either way.

Mosesbotbol,
I live in UAE and about 2 hours away from Ferrari World. I've been to the place several times.
The roller coaster alone makes it worth visiting. It will take you from a stand still to 250 km/h (top speed of S2000)
under 5 seconds. It is a very unique experience.
Since you mentioned food, one of the best pizzas I've ever had was inside the Ferrari world. But I don't remember
the name of the restaurant or price of the food. I don't think it was especially expensive.
Like someone else mentioned the neighboring race track, Yas-Marina has many attractions as well. Many different cars
can be driven on the track including Radicals! These are very popular and needs to be booked in advance. You can also
learn to drift a FT86 on a wet skid pad.
So plan to stay in UAE at least two days. One day for Ferrari world/Yas Marina and next day for Dubai which is two hours away.
Perhaps we can do a go-karting session
