know that when i drove a f430 and said that the s2k was more fun, people prob just write it off as fanboi speak.
Most people would assume that you're lying...the S2000 is a great car but it's not even on the same planet as the F430. I would be perfectly happy sitting in one spot just listening to an F430 rev for the rest of eternity. I was lucky enough to drive one for a couple of days and it's an experience I'll always cherish. That car is one fine piece of...

F430, 360, 355 don't sound amazing while inside the cabin.. not like they do from the outside. The exhaust noise is whats so glorious.. the engine itself, what you can really hear from the inside, isn't THAT special. Just listen on a youtube video.. they sound surprisingly similar to a high revving vtec engine.. nsx .. or even s2k for example

Just after I got my S I was living in a small rural village, anytype of special car was a rare sight there let alone an exotic. One nice summer night as I was driving home with the top down I noticed a very red car coming towards me, the driver had his lights on so it took a while before I got close enough to see it was a Ferrari 355. When the driver saw my S he casually put his hand out the window and gave me the universal sign of approval -

I have no problem saying that it made my day.
I had the same thing happen to me as I was driving through a small town. I also met some very cool 355 and 360 owners at a track day, they loved how "good" the S2K was for the price.

same here my family dislikes the S2000 too. Its too small too expensive, goes through tires too quick, They think its unsafe....I didnt buy it to impress anyone, if i was trying to impress i woulda gone with the TT or the boxster, just because those are more "fancy" cars...

We have an RS4.

I prefer driving the S2000 and have to agree that it's one of the best gearboxes in the world.

For us, daily driver just means the car you drive to work.

RS4 in this town is less flashy and more professional than the S2000. That being said, I still prefer the S2k on a nice day.

Too bad we're getting 6 inches of snow tonight. AWD DD FTW!

I certainly wasn't implying that you were lying...maybe u do like the S2000 better than a Ferrari but that would certainly place you in the vast minority. The S2000 is a phenomenal car but it certainly isn't a Ferrari and if you think it is then you obvioulsy haven't spent enough time in the Ferrari.

I disagree...having had seat time in a 360 and a 430 I think they are both amazing.
