In fact, my family, friends, and girlfriends all dislike my car.
in the 6 years i had an S2000, my wife sat in it *maybe* 5 times.

F430, 360, 355 don't sound amazing while inside the cabin.. not like they do from the outside. The exhaust noise is whats so glorious.. the engine itself, what you can really hear from the inside, isn't THAT special. Just listen on a youtube video.. they sound surprisingly similar to a high revving vtec engine.. nsx .. or even s2k for example

Just after I got my S I was living in a small rural village, anytype of special car was a rare sight there let alone an exotic. One nice summer night as I was driving home with the top down I noticed a very red car coming towards me, the driver had his lights on so it took a while before I got close enough to see it was a Ferrari 355. When the driver saw my S he casually put his hand out the window and gave me the universal sign of approval -
I have no problem saying that it made my day.

same here my family dislikes the S2000 too. Its too small too expensive, goes through tires too quick, They think its unsafe....I didnt buy it to impress anyone, if i was trying to impress i woulda gone with the TT or the boxster, just because those are more "fancy" cars...

We have an RS4.
I prefer driving the S2000 and have to agree that it's one of the best gearboxes in the world.
For us, daily driver just means the car you drive to work.
RS4 in this town is less flashy and more professional than the S2000. That being said, I still prefer the S2k on a nice day.
Too bad we're getting 6 inches of snow tonight. AWD DD FTW!

lying,huh? exactly what i meant.
so it a lot harder to call a ferrari owner a liar for giving cred to the s2k.
