Default Ferrari F599 road test 0-100 in 7 seconds flat

------->>>CLICK-

The F599 tested in R&T did 0-60 in 3.2s (which is quicker than the Enzo 3.3s or Carrera GT 3.6s)

0-100 a bit behind the Enzo 6.6s and dead on the CGT tested in R&T both at 7.0s

F599 1/4 mile 11.2@129.3 mph

F599 gets to 120mph in 9.8 seconds (the time it takes a Prius to get to 60mph).

If I was going to drive from, say, London to the 'Ring in Germany, that would be the car I'd pick to do it in.

Note, this car had launch control (not sure if that's US spec).

1st gear good for 52mph
6th gear (top speed) 205 mph at 8250 RPM (150 revs short of red-line)

the robot tranny shifts in 100 mini-seconds.

That's blazing fast. C05 Z06's 996 TT's were doing 0-100 mph at around 9 sec., so 7 seconds is ridiculously fast.

Unfortunately, they will dumb it down for us Americans.

It's even quicker than the Callaway C16 tested in the same issue. The Callaway has a 616 horse Magnuson supercharged motor.

Awesome, its good to see the the V12 car is actually worth getting over the V8 car now. I'd still take a F430 though.

Yeah, the 599 is a damn fast car. Win da lotto, it would be in the garage for the GT cruiser next to the Carrera GT and modded to hell Z06.
