Are we watching the same video? I saw a guy trying to move into an open lane and not knowing how to handle 1000hp... He was probably reasonably excited to try out his new toy and just had no idea what a handful it could be. His last car probably only had 600hp....

That car probably burns out so smooth he didn't even realize his tires were spinning till it was too late.

Exactly why I don't feel bad for him at all. There's little sympathy for someone "He was probably reasonably excited to try out his new toy and just had no idea what a handful it could be. His last car probably only had 600hp...." Public road like that is no place to try out his new toy. It's a car first and foremost and needs to be driven safely on public roads. He should've been much less cavalier.

I think your conclusions are pretty far reaching. He hit the gas and it got away from him, seems pretty far from being a "selfish jackass". People make mistakes, nobody was injured, nobody died. I feel sorry for him, he has to live with being "that guy who crashed his LaFerrari straight off the dealer lot" for the rest of his life.

Ya, maybe my adjective is far reaching, but hey... If I just got that car, I would be so friggin careful until I was familiar with it. There's a LaFerrari near me. I haven't seen it yet, but he parks it outside at BU (Boston Univ.) I am told.

the reactions from everyone is partially based on the car he owns/wrecked im sure. If it would have been a new impala or a civic it wouldn't have even made it to youtube.
