absolutely beautiful. classic proportions and beautiful lines.

if you think it looks great, you oughta hear one.

an older gentleman in my building has one in his stable of cars (Rolls convert./Jag XKR/BMW 750i/Benz 600SL). It's black on black and the seats are "Daytona" replica in that they're ribbed and have yellow piping. He rarely drives it but I've been lucky enough to be behind him a couple of times coming up the parking structure. That things sounds amazing.

I'm gonna go ahead and say this.............but from a side view, it slightly reminds me of a Supra.....!?

Doesn't this Ferrari have a back seat?

yeah, ferrari and toyota will both say their cars have "classic GT proportions". dunno which came out first, wouldn't be surprised if it's the supra.

don't know if this is just a case of being starstruck, but i think in person, the 550 looks much better than the supra. something in the natural way the bodywork flows.

"classic GT proportions"
IMO, that would be the body style that Ferrari really started with the 1964 275 GTB.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a backseat.

It has no back seat. thats the 456s job. The 550 has been my favorite Ferrari since it came out. I like this new facelifted version but I think I still prefer the slightly more aggressive look of the 550. In particular the front facia is a little bland. I'd still take one if you forced it on me though

anyone notice 550/575M and 456/456M have the gearbox locate in the back on the rear axle (a la transaxle gearbox) like the 70s Ferrari front engine GTs.
