14 races is a lot, so a lot of things could be happening by the end of the season. But unless Ferrari and Bridgestone sort out the tires, they won't be anywhere near the top.
All those silly rules changes have really hurt the sport. There's almost zero overtaking on the track, and the whole championship has turned into a tire war. Maybe they should introduce a WTC - world tire championship.
If they want to make the sport more interesting (and cheaper), they only have to do two things:
1. Get rid of wings. Aerodynamics REALLY hurt the car trying to overtake.
2. Use a spec tire. One manufacturer makes three kinds of tires (hard, medium and soft) for ALL the teams. Teams can use them any way they want.
