Sorry. When someone says "tuned Exhaust" I think of something like this:

In this particular instance, he just wanted to say that the 8C sounded raw. But for the pleasure of the folks watching his show, he had to make it more vibrant, so he compared with other exotics, mentioning other car's exhaust notes are fake. Meaning they sound less raw.

I know Mazda spent a crap load of money to tune their first gen. Miata to sound "sportier". It took them a long time...I guess its one of those "its in the details" sorta thing...since I've never really noticed it (nor have I conciously sp? paid attention).
