sorry bout the mix up, i meant i prey my bro gets his car back in 1 piece safely, like hopefully it was really being towed for some reason, not professional thieves stealing it. But he did check with the apt complex & they said they did not have it towed

It has always been advised to me by cops, dealers...etc....IF YOUR CAR GETS STOLEN, YOU DO NOT WANT IT BACK. Hence, since I am friends with a few local dealers, ALL of them steer me away from lo-jack.

Yeah, the Civic is prefered by theives since they are a dime a dozen, they can be stripped and sold usually within a day. Less chance of getting caught.

Sorry about the Z. Who else thinks lo-jack is useless? For a vehicle with just liability, maybe. Car stolen with lo-jack=car returned trashed. Without, ins covers it.

Sorry to hear about the ripped 350Z.
Billman250, I totally agree with you! If someone steals my car, as much as I love it, I would NOT want it back. Screw lo-jack, that is what my insurance premiums are for.

Towing the car is nothing new. Chances are, they didn't use a towing company but that is their wrecker. If they did use a towing company, they were not involved in it. If they were, they have their name on the side of the truck.
I would rather have someone steal the whole car then just bits of it. After a car has been violated, it no longer feels the same. One you get a new car out of it, the other bits and pieces.

It would appear that the number one place to steal cars (besides New Jersey) is at an apartment complex.
Now what does this say about parking your car at an apartment complex in New Jersey???
