Plyrs3, when was the last time you got 28 MPG on the highway in the S2000? I never got more than 24. My C5 Z06 averaged 28 MPG from LA to Vegas and the same on the return, at 80 MPH cruise.
EPA numbers may be BS but the C5 beat the S2000 soundly on real highway mileage. Then again, around town I averaged 14 MPG but I have a heavy right foot!

Agreed. But drive alongside me for a highway drone at 80 MPH and you'll lose. I still find that amazing.
Johnny, bite me. Why don't you go to a Z06 forum and search for mileage threads? Some get over 30 MPG highway. Don't be a hater just because you THOUGHT you were green...

Corvettes give great gas mileage as big as their engines are. They don't have to rev so high because of the high torque so they really don't use much fuel. It pretty much all depends how you drive your car also, I know S2000 owners who have reached over 29 MPG and others under 15 MPG. I personally reached once 380 miles in a full tank which is around 13 gallons on a trip to Key West, the Avg. was 29 MPG. In my regular daily driving I only get 20 MPG.

Look from who this statement is coming from. You have most ignorants in this forums beat, so please go back under the rock you crawled out of.
