ever heard of the tommy kaira ZZ2?...
those things are freaking bad @$$!!!
i just noticed that car in GT3...wondering if it was real, so i went to check it out online, heres some infomations on it...
A prototype supercar secretly built in Japan by long time Nissan GT-R tuners Tommy Kaira? Yeap, the ZZII concept has been around for some time, but has just been shown in production form with the odd title of 'Autobacs RS-01'. The name may be awkward but performance promises to be anything but... Mid-engined, with a reverse mounted 400kW version of the GT-R's RB26DETT feeding all four wheels, the RS-01 should and good for 300kph. It'll handle and stop too. In front the RS-01 boasts sophisticated inboard, coil-over strut suspension and six pot brake calipers. The rear getting large rotors and with four potters. The car isn't all Tommy Kaira. As you might expect, the Nissan GT-R parts bin has been raided for much of the drive train and numerous other elements. Surprisingly though, its not all Japanese either... Kaira borrowing the Audi TT's gear shifter. Similarly, the RS-01's styling reflects elements of Lotus Elise and McLaren F1, but with Kaira's own idiosyncrasies. Counting the duel roof units, the car sports an air scoop on close to every surface, contributing to the it's own unique character. Currently the RS-01 is only available to buyers of Sony's Gran Turismo 3 video game. It is estimated however, that the real world production car will eventually be offered for around $200,000 AUD. Tommy Kaira is gearing up to begin production of its second car, the ZZII. This car is expected to weigh in around some 2,200 pounds and be driven by a motor with around 500 horsepower! It may eventually find its way to the US, as well as the UK and other overseas markets where drivers love fast cars. We plan to post updates on the development of the ZZII. mid engine / all wheel drive / @ 550hp / 6pot front/4pot rear brakes/ F/R aero diffusers / full roll cage /
2200 pounds + 550hp...OMG...

Autobacs is somewhat like a Pep Boys on crack that they have in Japan, IIRC. I remember hearing about them to be offering a car, sold through their stores. I didn't think it was the ZZ2, but this sure looks like it, so I guess this is it.
I'm busy at work or I'd dig up more info for you, but do some searches for Autobacs on Google and you'll probably find some good stuff.

Coool! It is basically the same as a Group B rally car from the 80's (0-60 in 2.3 seconds).
Expect it to be very difficult to drive, however. Twitchy and troublesome. Have to have sick madskills to be able to use it. So I won't be looking to buy one anytime soon (after I win the lottery a couple of times, even).
