Mazda MX6-ish???

I'll go against the grain.

I don't like it. Compare that to the uber beautiful 6 series of old and the last big, BMW coupe (the misunderstood, but awesomely sexy 8 series) and you've got a mis shaped lump of ca ca.

Bangle said he wanted to break the mold and make BMW cars look different. Fine. But why make them all look like crap?

The current 3 looked similar to the old 5 and the old 5 looked similar to the old 7 and so on. All cars were readily identifiable as BMW's. When the new 7 came out, it looked nothing like any other BMW or any other car on the road. OK. I don't like it but what is gained by making the new 5 look like it, the new 6 look like it, etc. At least the Z4 (as ungodly ugly as it is) looks somewhat different (except the headlights).

I give this a thumbs down. Yet another BMW I wouldn't consider for even a second no matter how well it drives.

 

I don't like it. Every new BMW I see that has been bangle-ized gives me the impression BMW is trying too hard to be different or edgy or something. I can't figure it out.

I am continually amazed that they can produce yet another ugly design. The more they continue down this path, the happier I am I sold my 3.

Don't like the looks, especially the bustle on the rear. And those wheels?????? what were they thinking?
