End Of Lease Term Maintenance Docs 4 Honda/acura?????
Hey Everyone!!
I was wondering if any of you have leased a Honda or Acura through AHFC "American Honda finance corp" and returned it after the lease term was up. Mine is coming off lease here soon and I have been a real slacker when it comes to keeping the maintenance records of the oil changes and services. I know they say you have to give them those when you turn the car in but I am not sure if its something they really enforce. If anybody can give me any advice on this I would really appreciate it..
Thanks,
Jer

I have turned in 2 hondas and 1 acura.
They looked over the car, made sure all the parts were there. No unusual wear on the tires. If you have less then 1500 or so worth of damage to the car then they normally just take the car. I have never been asked for documents. but I have always had the car serviced at the dealer I bought it from. Check the back of you lease documents to see what you need to have.
Normally they just have a adjuster come out and look at the car. Remember that you have to cut a check for then to terminate the lease on most honda.acura leases done through honda finance,

No advice, yet because I'm in the middle of my lease.... (well actually 10 months into it )
I didn't lease from American Honda Finance, though, because Chase had a better rate. Let me know what you find out so I'll be prepared when the time comes.
Heck, I probably will just keep the car anyway and pay the residual, but you never know what might be coming out down the road...

Have you thought about selling it, versus turning it in. I know on most S2000 leases the residual is somewhere around $22K. If your car is in decent cond. you should be able to get more than that pretty painlessly.
