Miata review
Heaven forbid if my S2000 was stolen/totaled, I would consider this Miata for almost $10k less (X-plan) than a new S2000.

Cool write-up. It's interesting to see how the new reviews are going, but so far they seem pretty positive and it looks like Mazda stayed true to the original concept. Stiffening it up, getting even better balance, and keeping the weight down are good moves. It will be fun when the Sky and Solstice undergo their reviews and the comparisons start trickling in.

The new Miata (actually no longer called that) does look very promising. Closer in philosophy to the original, which I prefer and own to the second gen. I almost held out for the new third gen before getting my S2K. The difference in power and quality swayed me towards the S2K. Here's another write-up by a miata.net moderator: Review.

isn't the miata like 3-400 pounds lighter than the solstice/sky with almost identical power?
I still like the new model though.

Ok, how many posts before some immature teenie bopper comments on it being a fag-mobile and wouldn't be caught dead in it? (ok, I gotta admit, I like miata's but would never own one )
