how dare you guys compare the s2k to any of these crappy cars!!?? the s2k is a marvelous piece of engineering, i'd say nothing comes close in its class. every piece that makes the s2k was carefully thought out.

i'm just going to say that the engine in the E9x BMW's is like having two Honda engines bolted together in a V-shape

I can see some similarities, especially in the drivetrain, but no vehicle that heavy can be called "a _____ S2000". It goes against the philosophy of the S2000.

Regardless, very nice purchase. Beautiful car.

I agree no car can ever replicate the perfect mix of qualities and simplicity the S2000 represents.

There are some inherent design philosophies between both cars that are similar. Most notably in the balance, and drive train.

I'm going to give the car a good wash tomorrow and take some decent pictures.
