I know mercedes have bad quality, I've had a C32, but I have never seen a engine blow like that. Usually it's the best part of the car. I'm guessing he might have used some diesel or he was spraying.

The car is a W210 E55 (previous gen. with the NA engine) which was highly modded. The engine was bored to 6.0 liters and supercharged, along with all the other corresponding mods.

It is, and pretty heavily modded at that. He is trying to make it seem like it was not at the last second due to legal issues regarding the warranty. There are quite a few videos of him literally thrashing the shit out of the car too. But the engine is very far from stock.
