Default Dyno differences

I just picked up the latest copy of Sport Compact Car -- and I have to say I am impressed, they seem to have made the jump to a real magazine sometime between the last copy I picked up and this one.

All of this aside, they have an interesting article regarding dynos -- and how worthless they are in terms of bragging rights.

As a case and point, their Ford Ranger dyno results on various dynos are as follows:

173hp/195tq Dynapack
160hp/187tq Dynamic Testing Systems
148hp/175tq Maha
132hp/169tq Dyno Dynamics
174hp/205tq Dynojet (anyone remember the 220 vtec.net S2000 dynos?)
167hp/198tq Dynojet K&N
165hp/198tq Dynojet

Interesting. I thought the Dynapack would yield the highest numbers.
