Drove a SLK350 roadster today
#31
I test drove one a few months back, I really liked it. Nice torquey motor, they only had the 7 speed auto though. Dropped the hammer on take off some nice growl and wheel spin, handling seemed ok.
I really liked the interior space and trunk space as well as the hard top.
I really liked the car, but can't drop that much $$$ for 1 car seems silly. I can have my S2k and a luxury car as my daily driver for the same coin.

I am surprised it seems like a lot of people are still living in the dark.

Oops, I read you post too fast.
My bad.
Actually Car and driver did a road test on several luxo sedans. The test drivers had a difficult time using the brake pedal. I guess all the electronics actually got in the way of the actual driving.

havent driven the new one, but my gf's last SLK320 was a lemon!!
Talking about falling apart.
My take is you need to be very wealthy to buy MB's products nowadays. You know you are so rich and have so many cars in your garage....you don't really care if your MB needs to be sent back to the MB dealership for repair every month. Your driver probably will take care of that for you.
Otherwise, stay away from MB. You are justing kidding yourself. Don't say that I did not warn you!
