M5 is an absolute beast. And yes you will be frequenting your local gas station quite a bit going forward. Congrats on the pickup.

Congrats! You didn't even want the S5 presuming the V6 A5 was sufficient and then you changed your mind and got a 500hp V10 M5.

SMG or Manual? Only thing that doesn't stoke me about the M5 is it doesn't have the DCT tranny yet.
Well, I would have bought a S5 but there wasn't enough difference in the power to justify all the differences in gas and price. That V8 is a little bit on the week side IMO....that or the 3.2L V6 is just that strong?

The M5 was a no-brainer. The deal I got was way too strong to pass-up....and the car doesn't suck

SMG. I bought a 2006 and BMW didn't offer the traditional manual till 2007.

Actually, I've been driving a Landcruiser for the past year, so the mileage isn't that much different.....just the price of gas 87 to 93 octane is a little different in cost.

The 135 is probably the best all around driving car BMW has released since the 2002. It is such a blast to drive, but I'm not a fan of the styling. I think it starts with the headlights - if they were more square, it might not look like such a chick's-car. It just doesn't look like the kind of car any self-respecting heterosexual male would drive......that's just my opinion. I sooooo want it to be though!

All cars that don't get over 28 MPG are losing their value. Things will eventually stabilize again.

pls dude the v6 feels anemic. the v8 has solid punch that's necessary for a porky car that is the a5.

don't play it like you don't like the s5 more and that it's not worth the price hike. it clearly is.
