The 4Runner and Pathfinder are both trucks from the frame up. The Pilot and MDX are not.

I really like both the Toyota and Nissan, in fact, I just bought a new Pathfinder LE. I test drove the Pilot and was very impressed, but I do not need to move eight people around. The MDX, the top of the line luxury people mover could have been mine as well with no wait. Sorry but, I refuse to buy another Honda product at full MSRP with forced options.

I used to own Toyota 4x4 and the quality and reliability is second to none, including Honda. I have also owned a few Nissans and expect the same results for a lot less money than what American Honda would like for their vehicles.

I have a 1998 Toyota 4Runner Limited with 76,000 absolutely trouble free miles on it. It is not as much fun to drive as my S2000, but for what it is it is an amazing vehicle.

Over the years, I have driven it hard, overloaded it, abused it and ignored it. In exchange for this it has been among the most reliable, practical and useful vehicles I have ever owned.

I have owned 6 Hondas and they all have been great. My S2000 is my all time favorite car, but I refuse to sell my 4Runner because it has served and continues to serve me so well.
