Spotted my first '03 Accord in Reno today. I agree...it looks much better in person than in photos. I didn't like the rear end of the car, though. Those taillights are just weird.

I saw a new 4-door at the Honda dealer on Sunday.
I'm at a loss for words.
I was left feeling rather blah for the overall look and design of the exterior.
The front lights do not appeal to me yet.
The front lower bumper does nothing for me.
The rear tail lights are "interesting" at best.
I can't believe I'm going to type this because I am a devoted Honda kind of guy. However, the Altima looks better to me than the new Accord 4-door. I'm sure glad I'm not looking to buy a 4-door because it would be a tough call for me to make. IMHO Honda has not done a great job on this Accord generation!

i'm going to have to diagree with you on this one airgate. I saw one today at the dealership and while it might drive and have a very refined interior i thought the outside was absolutely butt ugly. It almost looks like they are moving in toyota's direction with their sedans looking jacked up 2 feet in the air. To me the tail lights look like blown up camry tailights. The front end to me looked squashed like a bug. It is much shorter to begin with and perhaps to improve front ground clearance?? they choped off the bottom part of the front bumper? It just looks like it has an overbite. I hope the coupe looks much better than this or i might have to go acura or nissan when the need arrives to buy a sedan.

overbite is good! I used to have an accord and the damn thing was so low that it would scrape the front all the time. I know this is not a sports car so being a little higher is not bad for a sedan. i think it looks like a good evolution overall. can't wait to see the CL and TL.
). Those taillights just don't do it for me. The coupe looks nice though.
