The coupe did have little windows in front of the side mirrors, but they are worthless. You really can't see anything out of the and the A-pillar is very large and does block a fairly large area.

After the S2000 the only improvement can be a good paddle shift auto.
I drove a auto EX. I was impressed with it's upper rpm's, but it was a little slow off the line. For a people hauler it's going to be hard to beat for the money. For the slow start, it's to be expected for a car that gets 30 to 40 mpg.
The spedo took a little getting used to, but the controls were right there.
Planning on dumping my truck and getting one next fall once the new car hype is over with.

P.S. The new Civic Si is very very enticing, I can't wait until they come out, the SalesBSperson told me december....

Funny story about this. I was at the dealer doing a service on my '02 si - I have the S2000 and the Si as my DD. Anyway, I am very very interested in the new Si so while I was waiting I went into the showroom, and asked the saleBSperson for a brochure. He was actually fairly polite and gave me his last brochure (he showed me the box, there was really only one left at the bottom). Anyway he asked me about my car, I told him I also had the '02 S2000 (yes, I know, I like to flaunt it so shoot me), anyway he looks at me and then says: "The new Civic Si will handle better then the S2000". I didn't say anything, I wasn't gonna argue, I just walked away. Discuss.

Hmmm... I went to look at the 2006 Civics again and I only saw the little windows in front of the side mirrors on the 4-door models, not on the 2-door coupes. Can anyone else verify whether the 2006 coupe has the little windows like on the 4-door Civic sedans? Thanks.

I also noticed the two sets of displays are at different distances, the top one is very very far away, and you have to adjust the steering wheel to not block it. Although it looks nice in pictures, it will take some time for me to get used to seeing the real car.
The thing I'm most interested in is the telescoping steering wheel. That in combination with the tilt and I'm thinking I may finally sit perfect in a Honda. You see my problem has always been, I move back to get my legs comfy and I can't reach the damn wheel, so I move forward for that and my legs are not comfy...
