Default Driving the NEW CAMARO :)

This weekend I rented the new Chevy Camaro. What a fun car!!

The amount of stares, questions, honks, and thumbs up I've gotten is amazing...

It's a fast car, and takes off. I've seen other Chevy's and I like the interior of the Camaro. Of course it could be better, but that's with all cars. The outside styling...speaks for itself. Obviously it can't corner like an S2000

Our local dealer still does not have one but saw one last week at a dealer a couple of towns over from mine and I have to say the car looks better than the pictures. I was impressed and I have to say others must have been too because there were 3 other cars that stopped for a look while I was there!
Even though I am more of a Challenger fan I have to say GM did a good job here and boy does this shine through the sea of blandness they have been building for so long . Here is a car that people would WANT to own . What took them so long? What is so hard here automakers ? STYLE is never a bad thing to build into a ride . The Camaro makes the HHR and Aveo look like the Aztec and Chevette in comparison.
Usually I am a big GM hater but with this one and the G8,and CTS I can't find anything to hate on .

Interior is so-so, but most people look at buying the Camaro because of the history it has and of course the overall V-6 and V-8 Performance

The only part of the interior that I outright don't like is that shifter (automatic transmission in a Camaro FTL), but the rest of it isn't that bad. The rest of the car more than makes up for the fact that the interior isn't flashy.

The interior is "blandish" but I've seen worse by GM
This is the V6 base model. As you upgrade with packages, the interior does get dressed up a bit more.

No joke, Avis already has them as a rental. This was the last one they had available so I took it for the weekend. I got a great rate for this car, only $35/day...
