I like the way you think.
Too bad Honda doesn't offer an "S2000 Refresh" program like they do (did?) for the NSX in Japan.

only issue with perpetually new would be driving constantly under the break in period lol.

I guess what im trying to say with this post was what to you all think constitutes a dream car?

i have a different view when it comes to my dream car. Mine is a MKIV Supra. Im 19 and ever since i played the old need for speed and midnight club games when i was a kid ive been in love. Ive told my friends over and over i would take car over any exotic thrown at me. I see a dream car as something i have always wanted and i plan on getting. cheers!

see that is what i was looking for lol. Because for me, its still a 90's toyota, and they can be found. Not cheaply, as even NA automatics are commanding idiotic prices.....But it is something that is attainable eventually. Heck i even see a ferrari 458 as attainable, eventually, for me. Not today, not tommorow, but someday. and since i can see it as attainable, i dont see it as a dream car, if you follow me on that?

To me there are realistic and unrealistic dream cars.

Realistic: a car that is pretty expensive but not impossible to afford eventually. Examples:
Lotus Exige
2nd gen NSX
Porsche Cayman
458 Italia (iffy)
Ariel Atom

Unrealistic: a car that theres not really any plausible way I could ever own unless I win the lottery. Examples:
Ferrari 250 GTO
Koenigsegg Agera R
Ferrari 599 GTO
Mercedes 300sl
Jaguar E-Type

See for me, if its realistic, then it isnt a dream car lol. But thats just my .02, and i am in no way trying to start an argument. Just trying to hear out what people define dream car as. I love your choice of a 300sl/e-type/250gto. Got a chance to finally see a 300sl in person, and i think im satsfied lol. Asking price was 265k.....

I also got a chance to see a 300SL in person a few months back... definitely one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. As for a 250 GTO, count yourself lucky if you see one ever in your entire life.

If you hang out in the Hamptons, you'll see Calvin Klein's. I was in Montauk at my buddies house, and I heard this thing pull into the condo complex, the guy who maintains Klein's cars out there picked up his GF in the 250 GTO and they went for a ride. I believe all his cars out there are usually in running order and you'll see them fairly often. It sounded great.
