TSB-054 which is to fix the buzzing sound by replacing the clutch disc is for 00 and 01 s2000.
I just had mine done about 2 weeks ago and I am very happy. The buzzing went away, and i got a better gripping clutch.

True.....

I just dropped my car off this morning to get it done. I can't wait to get her back.

Thanks for the reply.

did the service adviser make you go for a drive so he could confirm the buzzing or just take your word for it?

My local dealer (Bellevue Honda) refused to perform the service even though the noise has increased to deafining levels and I can't launch above 6k without clutch spin. Sigh. I guess I can try another dealer.

Hopefully you were not launching at 6K with the service rep in the car

the TSB-054 buzzing noise fix does not apply to 02 models. if your clutch disc is slipping at only 3k miles.... that makes me wonder. they might give you a one time fix and replace your clutch disc as a courtesy... but you must be driving your car like hell if it went out that quick hehe you might want to think about investing in an aftermarket clutch.
