Does anybody drive without shoes?

-> Most of the time I drive my S, I use my Nike flipflops almost 90% of the time. So far its not as annoying as most S2Ki'ers think. But once in a while, I drive barefooted, but those little bumps on those pedals irks me sometimes.
-> I usually do left-foot braking on my past cars like my ex-car WRX, it is a very effective skill. But so far, I haven't performed it on my S yet.

I like the no shoes action. The first time I tried it, I was like, "Whoa! Weird..." Then I got used to it about 15 seconds later and noticed how much more feel you have. Heel and toe is pretty much out the window unless you have Sasquach feet, so it's more of a coming back from the Shore type of thing, but nice nonetheless.

^ I do have a sasquach feet (size 13)!
-> I do heel-toe on a tilt-movement of the heel and use both of my toes to brake and blipping the throttle, I need my Nike flips to perform the procedure. Now I barefoot my left foot and keep my Nike on my right, so its a 50/50 thing.

I'm a board shorts,t-shirt, flip flops kind of guy. Always drive bare foot.
Driving bare foot is not illegal. Why would it be? Think of it this way, why would driving with high heels for chicks and some guys be allowed and barefoot not be?
Since I'm a kart racer, I have always left foot braked both on the track and on the street. On the street driving the flappy paddle car ( when the damn thing runs) you can leave your braking very deep in the corner use the brakes and gas pedal to balance the car and get a strong drive out of the corner.
You can also left foot brake with a old school manual gear box as well.

If I'm driving over 5 miles or so with no passenger, I put my shoes over in the passenger side.
Most states it is legal to drive without shoes (this being illegal is a HUGE myth), but check your own state laws if you have doubts.

Fawkin' gross. A co-worker drives without his shoes...grosses me out.
But I'm not a foot guy...so maybe it's just me.

I always wore sandals all through college. I got in the habit of taking them off when I drive. Now I can't stand to drive with any shoes. No matter what I'm wearing, I always take them off. I've gone autocrossing and drag racing many times and nobody has ever said anything to me, haha.
