saw a silver magnum with what i believe were 19 or 20" hre's (or iforged) and a free-er flowing exhaust. the car looked and sounded quite mean and i can totally see myself in one with the tots!

as for the TL.. i was very interested in one for a practical 2nd car, but after hanging out and researching on acura-tl.com, i've changed my mind. is it bad that i'm so easily swayed by a poor enthusiasts community? the TL is a great bargain for a very well equipped car, but when i consider ownership of a vehicle, the enthusiast community backing must be there. case in point, my s2000, element and sti.

Magnum Full size, domestic, V8, rwd wagon
Any rumors of an SRT-8 or extra high-po version?
Are there superchargers for the hemi with multi-displacement?
Imagine a blown Magnum, with 500HP - perfect for getting groceries.

The Magnum rocks!

If I had to consolidate the car and truck to one do-everything-I-need vehicle, this would be a strong contender.

the irony to all the "domestic" talk about the magnum and 300 is that the company may be american but the magnum and 300 are made in Brampton, Ontario which is in........CANADA!!!

did you guys see the Monster Garage with the Magnum??

It was pretty hott at the end, they kept it looking pretty close to stock on the exterior, except the black cherry paint and Jesse James 22"s (black) very nice.

Las tiem I checked none of us recognize canada as a country.. it's a state damn it!!..
If any thing California should divorce US and become it's own country..

As far as magnum... If i was a 40 year old with a wife and kids.. I'd pick the magnum over TL...
If I had nothing but relsale value in my mind the TL..

TL 0-60 in 5.8 secs??? slow for a 270hp/238tq...

NOw if the TL came in a rwd version.. that would seriously kick major ass... shit I'd sell my A6 2.7t for that.. well may be....

Canada is as domestic as Ohio - the Big Three have been making cars and building engines there for a long time. I wouldn't exactly call a Mexican-made Suburban "exotic," either, but then, I don't think "domestic" means "assembled entirely in the USA, with parts made entirely in the USA."

It was just an observation I was making about where this car is built.

You and I definitely have a different opinion about what is considered domestic. To me domestic means made in my country, not in my continent.
In my eyes Canada and the US are two very different places.
Not a big deal. I like the magnum overall. It's a cool try and going back to the days of the big engines rear wheel drive tire smoking cars.

not too shabby in my eyes.

The company is German-owned, too...but what difference does it make? I pick my products based on how well they meet my needs, and value...origin isn't that important to me.
