Since you think the Dodge Neon SRT is better, I think you should just stop bashing the S2000, making silly comparisons with the S2000 and x car and go get yourself a Neon... And no, most of us won't be beaten by a Neon, hell I wouldn't even waste my gas racing one of those pieces of crap. But given your history and past stories about how all these cars seem to beat you and your S2000, maybe you. Just don't race any Neons.

Although having a higher HP and torque are nice it doesn't really make your car faster. Sure it helps but there are other things to consider. The S4, a much heavier car (3700lbs 
) than the neon, puts out 250hp and 258 torque (in a 2.7L twin turbo 6cyl.)but scoots to 60 in 5.5s. Not that I am complaining, but it's engine isn't a technical wonder like our S2K.

Why would anybody care what you think a car needs? I like the S. I don't care if it doesn't have a ton of low end torque. I don't care if Mr. Super Neon can beat me leaving a stoplight. If you do...don't get the car - and don't complain about it. You know what's out there and what the car is and is not.
So Dodge can turbocharge a bigger engine and get less power and more torque. Whoopie for them! Is the car going to be fast? Probably. Can it beat an S? Maybe. Do I care? Not really.

It's american engineering...that's an oxymoron if there ever was one.
Its 2.4L. And it's turbocharged. It's only got 215hp. That
ing blows. For those specs, I expect at least 240hp.
B18C5 puts out 195.
K20A2 puts out 200.
F20C puts out 240.
