So Fiat was going to pair up with Mazda to do a roadster. Now Fiat... er Chrysler is doing a roadster...
Presumably Fiat is doing a car with Mazda because both are finding it hard to get production volumes up high enough to justify making a roadster. Even the Miata, the best selling roadster (not sportscar) in history isn't selling in volumes that really justify it's R&D costs. But, why, if Dodge is making a new roadster, would Fiat pair up with Mazda instead of themselves? Perhaps Fiat isn't just thinking a Mazda based Alfa. Perhaps there is a Mazda based baby Viper in the future... The Monster Miata guys can finally have a HEMI in that.

Reminds me of the Copperhead concept they made 15 years ago. And then the Demon concept they made 5 years ago, lol. They need to sh*t or get off the pot with this roadster thing .

Does anyone actually think this theoretical new car is going to look like a concept car from five years ago? Give Fiat-Chrysler some credit, the most recent cars seem decent enough. Certainly not the crap from the DC days.
Am I going to get accused of sucking Dodge dick now?
