Default Detroit Auto Show

I'm planning on skipping out for a few hours during lunch. Hoping I can get hooked up with "industry" tickets. Otherwise I guess I'll have to wait until the show is open to the general public. What date does that happen?

Anyone else planning on going to the show? I've been working for a client in the Detroit area for a few months now, and this is the first time I'm excited about flying out there on Monday!

Was inside CoBo last night with friends from setup crew from Dodge Windsor here. They've really outdone themselves this year. H U G E displays..

You can't see too much as they have all these weird "skins" on the cars..

Was going to go to the celeb preview, but my time this week won't allow it, si I'll be doing the general public tour with everyone else this year.

I'm going to try and take pics of anything even close to being a comparable ride to the S2000. I'll post next week.

(BTW: I can see CoBo from my window here !)

I'll be there with bells on! I just picked up an extra battery for the digicam, so I'll be taking serious pics this year. We're taking my roommates Dinan 330i, so there will be plenty of highway mischief on the way there!

Sounds like a helluva road trip! When are you headed up? I'll be in Detroit Mon-Thurs. and hope to make it to the show at least one of those days.

Looks like we're just going to miss each other. We'll be driving out on Thurs, and attending the show on Fri. Happs, just make sure to take lots of pics. I know I'll be snapping like a fiend!

P.S. - Yeah, it will be a great roadtrip. My roommate's dad is taking his '97 3000GT VR-4 along as well. He's pushing around 400hp. Makes the Dinan drive like a dump truck by comparison!!
