Design your dream car.

Mostly I want a "transformer," something that can act like a crew cab pickup truck with an open bed, seating for four, and 7K lb tow rating... and quickly transforms into a two seat (or one-seat) minimalist sports vehicle like an Ariel Atom (must also transform an Optima-like canopy for rain or very cold days, lol). I know, buy two machines. But you did say dream machine, right?

Take the style of the SW20 MR2 (1991-95), update styling slightly to remove pop up headlights (even though they were cool), engine a 350hp V6 and weigh about 2600 lbs, sell new for $35k.
I would buy 2, and stash one until the first one wore out. Between the two I would be happy with the car for the rest of my life.

P.S. Or a dune-buggy with a mounted grenade launcher and unlimited ammo.
How about instantaneous teleportation?

Easy, FR layout, 50/50 weight distribution, roughly 225 whp, Sub 2400 lbs, double wishbone suspension, wheelbase in the mid 90" range, no ABS, no power steering, no traction control, no larger than 17" wheels,
Basically if I could get a stripped down s2k with no abs and ps I'd be pretty close.

I'd say some that looks like a 427 Cobra that has a 427 side oiler in it with air conditioning and an iPod hook up and better seats than a 427 Cobra.
Basically I want an old car that works like a new car. Something with a 4 speed manual, no electronics besides in the ignition and a loud stero.
Or this, something simple, reliable and fun.
