Ok, so the funniest thing i just happened to me at my job. I had a guy with a b16 CRX offer to race me for money. My S is totally stock (for now). I asked him what was done to his car and he said its just all motor. WTF....! Are you kidding me who the hell would actually come to your job and offer that to someone. What do you guys think....Would he (dont know why i gotta ask but) have a chance?

I would say that he knows he has a very good chance or he wouldn't want to do it.

depending on road conditions he might take you off the line, my SI with a zc swap pulls hard, i can only imagine a b16, 160 hp in a 1800 lb or less car, you will take him from a 3rd gear roll or top end

Yeah, well i just found out that he is spraying as well. He didnt say anything about that. the thing is here in Spokane the guys with the CRX's just think they are gods gift....I think its totally funny. So you guys think he'll beat me in the quarter

Really, that surprises me. I have yet to race but I'm not really into the drage seen I like more of the twisty and turn stuff....lol

have you ever driven a SOHC VTEC CRX Si? it really doesn't feel any heavier than driving a 5hp go-cart....

Yes he will beat you.. badly with nitrous if he is spraying.

i've seen civic hatches with b16s and intakes pull 13.9s.

A CRX will be even faster, probably 13.5.

Some guys around here have b18 and one guy built a b20 from a crv block and put it in the car!.. Better hope he's only got a b16. Very light car and fun to drive... it's the s2000's grandpa according to some...
