if you compare it to Walmart, you are saving around $7...

yeah, i went there today to check out the prices...they sell the big bottle 5 QRT for 23 and you have to buy another 1 QRT bottle which is 6.50, so you are saving $7...i see where u are coming from...and i usally buy it from there but.. then again this 6 Individual bottle which if you buy it from Wal mart it'll be $37...so you are still saving a little...it's a great deal if you buy two or three pack, you'll be saving more than $15.

Y do you need six quarts anywho? The best deal is to just buy 5 qt jugs, if your car uses a little oil like my AP1 used to I would buy one quart and reuse that bottle, otherwise your wasting money by buying the individual quarts. No matter how you look at it its cheaper just to buy the 5qt jug, if you need 6 qts just buy two lol. Still cheaper/qt.

Probably because an oil change with filter takes 5.5-5.6 quarts or so.

On my 2000 I drain it, change the filter and pour exactly 1 full 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 in from Walmart and it's always just at the 3/4 full mark.

yep, im not OCD and I dont worry about that 1/8" left on the dipstick. If its in the crosshatch I'm ok with it.

I see the point the OP is making, with the costco coupon you get 6 quarts for about the same price as 5qts you get at wal mart. But we've got no Costco
