Corvette has lost its connection with the younger generation

It was easy, during a recent staff meeting, to dismiss the assertion by a young devil

False train of logic. The attendees at Bowling Green are skewed by economics and demographics:

1. Who can afford one (established careers.)
2. Who can have a two-seater (no kids, affluent)
2. Who can take off for such a vacation (retired, no young kids.)
3. Who's wife will let them go (more established relationships.)

Of course these arguments are not all inclusive but they serve to point out the invalidity of the data.

The only relevant point is that the pricing eliminates most younger persons.

Most of the Vette owners I've seen are on the aged side.
There some mid thirtys guys once in a while. I saw a Z06 parked yesterday, pretty mean looking. Then later some jack ass took up two stalls with his C5, idiot, it isn't a Farrari or anything

The Vette seems more like a Pimp mobile to me for some reason, guess I can't get pass their past image

Are Corvettes for old farts?
As much as S-2000s are for sophomoric cretins with double-digit IQs (if that).

Oh, oh, old timer alert. Relax pops, he was just asking a question. You know he's old when he uses a term like cretin, instead of "dumbass."

Personally, I do see a lot of older gentlemen driving Corvettes around. Just an observation, but a lot of friends have that perception too.

C5's are a dime a dozen in DFW. Old farts and hot blondes is what you see in them out here. Based on Observation.

although I have seen 3 911 twin turbos being driven by 60+ year old Asian women. Not to sure what that is all about. Just had to throw that out there.

Just cause you can afford it, some people just don't look right in them.

I have seen the older men in C5 convertibles with there big receding foreheads sticking out above the windshield, again just cause you can afford it, doesn't mean you have to buy it.

I think we are all free to make statements based on observation.

Although I am a 25 year old successful business professional that is single and can afford to buy a C5 or Z06. I chose a 'S' because they are not a dime a dozen and it is more appealing to my age group. Like a C5 convtertible it is built to be a convertible from the ground up.

I turn fifty this year and don't really care what others think of me in my S. I got it because it was a dream I wanted to fulfill. I'm content.
