And where did they get the money to do this? ... Chevy should stop thinking about designing cars nobody is going to buy and worry about their future as a company.

Although I do agree with you on this one, I think that Chevy was working on this concept before they were ''in trouble'' which is probably why they decided to go on and present it instead of scrapping it altogether.

I see some design cues from the original Stingray here and there but it's all too busy as a package to be recognizable.

We'll probably see this design philosophy in the next generation Corvette. I do like the side view, esp the bulged fenders, but hate the back like others already mentioned.

Someone's come out with a car that looks basically like this every couple of years. Nothing every happens with it.

Funny I don't like the side view cause it looks like someone stepped on it, but I do like the rear 3/4 view, the roofline from the top shot and the rear.
