Very true, GM can't even afford to move forward on plans for redesigning the C6, as they had to shelf the development work. C6 Stands to be the longest running generation of Corvette ever...

I thought I read something somewhere hinting at big changes for the '10 model year. At a minimum, I am hoping for a new interior. It really should have a new interior now that the new Camaro has an entirely new, bespoke interior (no Cobalt steering wheel there). I suppose a light reskin could also be in the cards, given the body on frame design. Relatively speaking, I wouldn't think a new interior and light reskin would cost THAT much, think tens of millions rather than hundreds of millions, maybe (but, then again, I really have no clue). The car's mechanicals and performance are so good that I think the new interior and light reskin could keep the car competitve/fresh for at least another 5 model years. Anyone know anything about what's in store, if anything, for '10?
